Delivery Driver Opportunity at US Foods, Inc.

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class A Delivery Driver to join our team in Streator, IL. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering food products to customers while ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

Competitive Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is approximately $30.23 per hour, with opportunities for wage increases after the probation period. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a delivery truck to transport food products to customers
  • Loading, unloading, and inspecting equipment to ensure accuracy and quality control
  • Providing exceptional customer service by verifying delivery accuracy and obtaining proper signatures
  • Handling collections and payments from customers when applicable
  • Performing pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
  • At least six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months of commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required
  • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ pounds of product repetitively during each shift
  • Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift)
