Job Description

This role is ideal for an experienced psychometrician looking to leverage their skills in assessment development and validation. As a trusted advisor, you will lead efforts to create innovative tools that drive business growth and superior performance for our clients.

  • Develop and validate psychometric instruments for the Gap Performance Diagnostic suite and other diagnostic products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and evaluate assessment tools related to employee and organizational success.
  • Design and implement validation studies, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and validity of our assessment products.
  • Analyze psychometric data to provide insights and recommendations for product improvements.

You will also consult internal and external stakeholders as a subject matter expert and author whitepapers and thought-leading reports.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A Master's degree or above in Psychometrics, Psychology, Education Measurement, or related fields.
  • At least 10 years of experience in psychometric test development and validation.
  • Strong background in classical test theory, assessment design, item response theory, and other psychometric models.
  • Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, SPSS, SAS) and programming languages (e.g., Python).
  • Passion for innovation and commitment to making a meaningful impact on organizational performance.

As a consultant, you will contribute to the business in multiple capacities, including leading functional areas, working directly with organizational leaders, and performing an active role in service of business development goals.
