Aircraft Engine Technician

Key Responsibilities:- Set up and operate specialized test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of aircraft engines and/or related accessories.
- Determine and calculate fuel and oil consumption, perform fuel sample tests, and troubleshoot and adjust components on engines and accessories during testing.
- Liaise with engineers, mechanics, and inspectors on test performance, consult manufacturer's manuals to determine tests and maintenance procedures, and install, mount, fasten, align, and adjust parts, components, wiring, and harnesses to engines and/or accessory units.
- Generate and maintain engine test performance schedules, calculate and evaluate engine test data, complete production documentation and test and maintenance reports, and participate in continuous improvement of cell processes.
- Aviation experience required.
- Good planning, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, decision-making, oral, and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of production management computer systems and other related internal control systems.
- Knowledgeable in the functional operation of the products tested.
- Ability to attain a Special Process stamp for Test Technician designation.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds (unassisted) for approximately 25% of the average workday.
- Regularly required to sit and stand for prolonged periods.
- Ability to follow and understand related company instructions and company processes.
- Ability to work day shift, second shift, or weekend shift as required.
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
- A&P license preferred.
