Job Summary:

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide one-on-one care to a pediatric patient in a school setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with patients with G-tubes and low acuity needs. The nurse will work a 4/3 rotation, 7a-7p, and will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care and services in accordance with prescribed orders.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Provide skilled nursing care and services in accordance with prescribed orders.
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Requirements:

  • Currently licensed as an RN in the state in which the RN will practice.
  • Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
  • Current BLS card.
