Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Genesis HealthCare in Albuquerque, New Mexico. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.

About the Role
  • Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition and report changes in condition.
  • Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
  • Administer medications and performs treatments per physician orders.
  • Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree from an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
  • Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure.
  • Maintenance of current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.
