About the Job

Aya Locums is seeking a skilled Nephrology Physician to join our team in Tacoma, WA. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality care to patients with kidney-related conditions.

Job Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of kidney-related conditions, including chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, and electrolyte imbalances.
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing dialysis.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, such as renal ultrasounds, biopsies, and blood tests.
  • Provide patient education about kidney disease, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Residency training program in internal medicine accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
  • Fellowship in nephrology.
  • Board certification in nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in Washington.
