We are seeking a skilled Medical Device Specialist to join our team at Sutter Health. This role involves managing implanted devices, collaborating with physicians, and ensuring the highest quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have technical knowledge of device technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

About the Role

As a Medical Device Specialist, you will be responsible for interrogating pacemakers and ICDs, analyzing device function, and making basic changes to optimize programming. You will also be responsible for remotely monitoring patients, following up on device status, and providing patient education.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • BLS certification
  • A cardiac device training certification

Experience in a relevant field and proficiency in communication, technical skills, and attention to detail are also essential.

Benefits

This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week. You will be based in a Sutter Health facility and will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment. A competitive salary range of $75,000 - $90,000 per year is available, depending on experience.
