Senior Cost Estimator

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Cost Estimator to join our team at Pro Pump Corp. As a key member of our estimating department, you will play a crucial role in evaluating project requirements, identifying potential challenges, and determining labor, materials, and equipment needs for our clients.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and mathematical skills, with excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is essential, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. Prior experience or internships in estimating, project management, or a related field is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:- Travel to commercial job sites to assess project requirements and identify potential challenges.
- Create detailed cost estimates by analyzing job scope, material and labor requirements, and project timelines.
- Analyze project specifications and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Collaborate with our sales team to understand client requirements and tailor estimates to meet their needs.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing information.
- Maintain and update a database of costs and prices for materials and labor.
- Assist in the development of project proposals and bids.
We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 per annum, plus comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans, a retirement savings plan with company match, and opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
This role requires time spent both in the office and at field locations, with occasional need to work outdoors in varying weather conditions when on-site.
