Salary: $35 per hour
Job Description:
- Patient Care Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional direct and indirect patient care through the assessment, planning, prevention, and evaluation of patient needs.
- Leadership Role: Direct the day-to-day activities of nursing assistants and ensure seamless delivery of patient care services.
- Medication Administration: Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physicians and maintain accurate records.
- Clinical Communication: Effectively communicate changes in patient clinical condition with physicians, nursing supervisors, and families.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care activities, including admission, discharge, and transfer documentation.
Requirements:
- Location Flexibility: Willingness to pick up shifts at our facilities located in Minnesota.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact professionally and with care towards residents, families, and other staff.
- Nursing Qualifications: Graduate or future graduate from an accredited nursing program and hold a current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience as an LPN in a long-term care setting (preferred).
- Problem-Solving: Natural problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
