Salary InformationThe estimated salary for this position is around $75,000 to $95,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. As a Nurse Manager at Ascension Health, you will be compensated fairly based on your skills and dedication to delivering high-quality patient care.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to join our team at Ascension Health. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and providing leadership while directing activities of clinical/non-clinical or interdisciplinary teams of licensed and non-licensed caregivers and support staff delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring implementation of clinical objectives in an assigned area.
- You will assess daily patient care needs and develop and distribute patient care assignments of clinical/non-clinical or an interdisciplinary team of licensed and non-licensed caregivers and support staff, ensuring that population-appropriate patient care is given.
- In accordance with the applicable State Nurse Practice Act, you will delegate appropriate duties to clinical/non-clinical or interdisciplinary teams of licensed and non-licensed caregivers and support staff based on their assessed skills and abilities.
- You will gather information from other members of the clinical/non-clinical or interdisciplinary team and use this data to plan for the care of all patients on the unit for the shift.
To be successful as a Nurse Manager at Ascension Health, you must have the following skills and qualifications:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- At least 1 year of cumulative job-specific experience required.
