Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Baymont by Wyndham Cedar Bluff in Knoxville, TN.

Estimated Salary: $32,000 - $42,000 per year

Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain guest rooms to ensure a high level of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Replace used towels and linens with fresh ones.
  • Sweep and mop floors to keep them clean and dust-free.
  • Vacuum carpets to maintain their appearance and hygiene.
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to create a welcoming environment for guests.
  • Replenish bath care products such as soap and shampoo.
  • Restock beverages and food items in the mini-bar.
  • Clean public areas including corridors and stairwells.
  • Report any technical issues or maintenance needs to the management team.
  • Address guest inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Retrieve lost items from guests and assist them in resolving any issues they may have.
  • Ensure all assigned rooms are clean and tidy by the end of the shift.
  • Follow hotel security guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Room Attendant or Housekeeper is required.
  • Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and products is essential.
  • Good physical health and stamina are necessary to perform the demands of this role.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts is required.
  • Ability to work independently while meeting high-performance standards.
  • Excellent organizational skills are necessary to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to follow instructions and take direction from management.
  • A high school diploma is preferred but not required.
