Counter Intelligence Specialist

The Federal Government is seeking highly skilled and dedicated individuals to fill the position of Criminal Investigator with the United States Secret Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting complex criminal investigations, providing protection for various protectees, and planning and implementing security designs for National Special Security Events.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough investigations into financial crimes, including those related to government agencies;
• Providing close protection for senior officials and dignitaries;
• Developing and implementing comprehensive security plans for high-profile events;

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, with a strong academic record, and at least one year of experience in law enforcement, protective services, or a related field. You must also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to think critically and make sound judgments under pressure.

You will be required to pass a rigorous selection process, which includes a written examination, a physical fitness test, and a thorough background check. If you are selected for this role, you will undergo extensive training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center and the James J. Rowley Training Center.
