Senior Hospice Care Professional

As a Registered Nurse - Regional Support at Gentiva Health Services, you will play a critical role in providing direct patient care services and supportive care to patients' families. This position reports to the AVP of Operations and involves temporary assignments in branches where there is a vacant position, increased census, or additional staffing is deemed necessary.
The temporary assignment typically lasts between 13-26 weeks. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct patient care services to hospice patients and supportive care to the patient's family
- Managing an interdisciplinary group consisting of Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and support staff to enhance the quality of hospice care
- Case managing all assigned patient clinical records
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A current license to practice nursing in the state of requested employment
- A minimum of one (1) year experience in oncology, long-term care, or hospice or home health; school internships and clinical hours may be considered as experience in individual cases
