Job Summary:

We're seeking a Full-Time Day shift RN to join our Brain Injury Unit at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital. As an RN on this unit, you'll work with patients who have suffered traumatic injuries or disabling illnesses, providing expert care and support to help them achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides direct patient care, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized plans of care.
  • Assesses patients' needs, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing interventions to enhance their outcomes.
  • Maintains accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and progress.
  • Participates in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred.
  • New York State RN licensure; active registration with the NY State Education Department.
  • Current BLS certification; ACLS certification may be required depending on the unit.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Pay is commensurate with education, skills, and location. The salary range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
