We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Services Specialist to join our team at The Children's Home, Inc.

The estimated salary for this position is $42,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

About the Job:

  • Job Summary: As a Behavioral Services Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering Applied Behavior Analysis services to youth in a residential setting, under the supervision of a BCBA. You will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to support the 3-tier positive behavior supports approach to campus behavior management.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Deliver behavioral services campus-wide, including direct behavior therapy services to youth and staff training.
    • Assist the BCBA with completion of Preference Assessments, Functional Behavior Assessments, and Behavior Intervention Plans.
    • Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation of the highest quality and consistent with agency standards, rules, and regulations.
    • Enter necessary documentation into the Electronic Health Record and billing system for services provided.
    • Complete a minimum of 80% of worked hours as billable hours.
    • Interact positively with other residential team members, clinical therapists, school liaison, activities coordinator, case managers, teachers, etc., as needed to ensure services are successfully implemented.
    • Conduct assessments such as VBMAPP, Vineland, BASC, etc.
    • Collect data, graph data, analyze, and summarize data. Use data to monitor the course of treatment services for individual youth.
    • Attend and participate in all treatment plan reviews, psychiatric consultations, internal/external youth staffing meetings, and/or any client review meetings requiring input.
    • Participate in and assist with implementation of campus positive behavior supports and campus incentive programs.

  • Current Medicaid Provider enrollment (preferred).
