A challenging opportunity has arisen for a skilled Inpatient Therapist to join the team at Avera St Luke's Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in the region. As an Inpatient Therapist, you will play a vital role in coordinating and facilitating counseling services within our inpatient hospital and addiction recovery program.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in crisis intervention, patient assessment, and group and family therapy using evidence-based practices. A master's degree and relevant licensure are mandatory, along with experience in clinical settings to provide outstanding patient care.

We offer a competitive salary of $38.19 per hour, based on experience, which translates to an estimated annual salary of $79,144. The hourly range is between $28.75 and $43.50 per hour.

Job Summary

The primary responsibilities of this role include assisting in coordinating, planning, implementing, and facilitating programs and counseling services within the inpatient hospital, partial hospital, and addiction recovery program setting. This may involve facilitating all aspects of treatment including crisis intervention, providing assessment, individual, group, and family counseling for patients.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Master's degree required
  • 1-2 years' experience required
  • Clinical experience facilitating group therapy sessions and providing individual counseling services preferred
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) experience preferred
