About the Opportunity

We are seeking an Electrophysiology Technician to join our team in Hudson, Florida. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will assist cardiovascular physicians in performing and completing invasive diagnostic therapeutic cardiovascular procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with preparing patients for procedures, including positioning, monitoring, and maintaining a safe environment.
  • Operate and maintain complex equipment used during procedures, such as electrophysiology machines and monitors.
  • Prepare and administer medications as directed by the physician, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Document patient information, procedure details, and any notable observations or incidents.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A strong foundation in electrophysiology technology, preferably with experience working in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and move quickly in response to emergency situations.
