Nuclear Medicine Technologist Position in Ohio

About the Job: We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at a top healthcare facility in Columbus, Ohio. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a crucial role in creating high-quality images using PET scanners for diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Operate PET scanners to capture high-resolution images of the body
- Prepare patients for scans by administering radioactive tracers and positioning them correctly
- Analyze scan results to identify abnormalities and provide data to radiologists
- Communicate effectively with patients, doctors, and other healthcare professionals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current ARRT certification and NMTCB registration
- State license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- 2+ years of experience in PET scanning
- Ability to work 40 hours/week, including evenings and weekends
Salary and Benefits: The estimated annual salary for this position is $114,000-$135,000, depending on experience.
