EMT Apprentice Program

North East Ambulance Services is offering a paid apprentice program that provides a unique opportunity for individuals to become licensed EMTs. This accelerated program is designed to educate and prepare candidates for the National Registry Exam, allowing them to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the field.
Program Details- Duration: 6 weeks
- Class times: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
- Clinical and ride time hours required
Upon successful completion of the program, candidates can be hired by any of the sister companies, with salary ranges from $34,185 to $49,740 depending on the shift and schedule chosen.
Admission Requirements- At least 18 years of age
- Valid Ohio Driver's License
- High School diploma or GED
Applicants must also meet the following requirements:
- Complete the pre-entrance examination
- Personal Health History, Immunization record, and Physician Physical Exam
- 10 Panel Urine Toxicology Screen with negative results
- Successfully pass a background check
