Personal Care Specialist

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Personal Care Specialists. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, providing essential support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Salary: $17.50-$18.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
About the Role:
As a Personal Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing companionship, transportation support, and assistance with daily living activities. You will also play a vital role in promoting independence and enhancing the overall quality of life for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care and support to individuals in their homes or community settings
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Transport clients to appointments, outings, and other activities
- Prepare meals and snacks according to individual needs and preferences
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients
- Monitor client health and well-being, reporting any concerns to supervisors
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement client-centered plans
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; home care aide license or CNA certification preferred
- Valid Washington State driver's license and reliable vehicle required
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (or have an approved exemption)
- First aid and CPR certification within 120 days of employment
