Role Overview

RadNet, a pioneering force in radiology, seeks a highly motivated Radiology Imaging Technologist Trainee to join its team of dedicated professionals. As a valued member, you will be part of a dynamic environment that emphasizes cutting-edge technology and exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

This role offers an exciting opportunity for career advancement as you undergo comprehensive training in mammography, including digital mammography and Tomosynthesis. You will work closely with our experienced team to deliver high-quality services and develop your skills in advanced radiology procedures.

  • Complete a 40-hour initial Mammography Training Course Webinar, with RadNet providing reimbursement for the training hours.
  • Participate in 8-hours of training in Tomosynthesis, also reimbursed by RadNet.
  • Pursue and pass the California State Mammography Licensing Exam, with RadNet covering the exam fees.
  • Career Advancement Opportunity: Cross-train into mammography as a dedicated and caring professional.
  • Receive hands-on training in mammography upon obtaining your California State Mammography License.
  • Become a full-time mammography technologist with RadNet once certified.
  • Engage in projects, meetings, and tasks assigned by management.
Requirements and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must possess:

  • A current California State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification.
  • BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association.
  • The ability to learn new skills in advanced radiology procedures such as Tomosynthesis, biopsies, and procedures.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and compassion, ensuring a calm and friendly demeanor for nervous patients.
  • Quick thinking and the ability to take action in emergent situations.
Estimated Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000, based on industry standards and national averages.
