Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Postpartum Nurse to join our team at a top healthcare facility in Austin, Texas. This is a unique opportunity to work with a renowned medical institution and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

About the Role

This position involves working as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Mother-Baby department, providing expert care to new mothers and their babies. You will be responsible for monitoring patients' progress, administering medication, and educating them on postpartum care and newborn development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any concerns to the medical team
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Provide emotional support and education to new mothers on postpartum care and newborn development
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Degree from an accredited nursing program
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Mother/Baby setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
