About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Refinisher to join our team at CarMax. As a key member of our detailing team, you will be responsible for ensuring our vehicles meet the highest standards of quality and appearance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough cosmetic inspections of vehicles to identify areas for improvement
  • Repair and replace small parts to ensure vehicles are in good working order
  • Perform paint retouching, post-paint finishing, waxing, and buffing to achieve a showroom-quality finish
  • Follow and promote CarMax's high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
Requirements
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: washing, waxing, cleaning, and buffing, masking, sanding, grinding, and applying paint; removing and replacing small parts, carrying out minor repairs
  • Manual dexterity and physical stamina, with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
  • Customer focus and attention to detail
  • Possession of a valid driver's license
