Job Title: Maintenance Technician

At Coral Casino Beach and Cabana Club, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, maintenance, and optimal operation of our facilities, equipment, and grounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks, including heavy cleaning, equipment maintenance, and repair.
  • Inspect equipment, structures, and materials to determine the need for maintenance or repairs.
  • Assist with plumbing and electrical issues as needed.
  • Clean and maintain building floors, walls, and windows.
  • Repair and maintain building floors, including stripping, sealing, finishing, and polishing.
  • Clean and maintain pools, pool areas, and cabanas.
  • Maintain clean and organized storage rooms and maintenance spaces.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Engineer.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years' maintenance technician experience.
  • Basic knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, requirements, and use of equipment/machinery.
  • Basic knowledge of proper chemical handling preferred.
Working Conditions:
  • Frequently stands/walks for prolonged periods of time, at least eight hours.
  • Ability to climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, crouch, bend, stretch, twist, and reach.
  • Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Ability to withstand continuous repetitive motions.
  • Works both indoors and outdoors, in various weather conditions.
  • May be exposed to loud noise.
  • May come into contact with fumes, open flames, hot and cold surfaces, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, sharp knives, and other objects.
