Job Summary

Georgetown University in Qatar seeks a highly skilled Financial Analyst, Non-Student Receivables to join our team. This role is responsible for managing all critical functions related to recognizing revenue and managing receivables from customer (non-student, non-sponsored) sources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review customer contracts to ensure proper and timely revenue recognition and invoicing, booking revenue where required.
  • Invoice customers according to revenue generating agreements, including developing invoice templates to meet the specifications as outlined in such agreements.
  • Account for payment and non-payment from University customers, taking appropriate action.
  • Reconcile customers' receivable accounts both to the general ledger and to the outstanding invoices and particular charges that remain unpaid.
  • Develop efficient ways for customers to remit payment simply and securely and have payment properly applied to their accounts and invoices.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field; Advanced degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in a finance, accounting, or business operation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in a higher education environment preferred.
  • Experience with the Workday Financials system, in particular customer contracts and invoicing preferred.
Work Mode Designation

The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:

$47,586.00 - $87,558.13

Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
