About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled CNA to join our team at the Transitional Care Unit in Scranton. In this role, you will assist nurses in carrying out routine assignments, transport and prepare residents for activities and appointments, and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support nursing staff in carrying out routine assignments and tasks
  • Transport and prepare residents for activities and appointments
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff


Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Completion of Nurse Aide Competency Evaluation Program
  • Six months experience as a Nurse Aide in a geriatric setting preferred
  • CPR Certification required


Work Environment: This role involves working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to blood and body substances. You must be able to lift, bend, and stoop throughout your shift, and transport yourself throughout the facility frequently while pushing a wheelchair.

Salary Estimate: $18-$22 per hour based on experience and location.
