Radiology Coordinator Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Radiology Coordinator to join our team at New York Imaging. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our radiology department.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate patient scheduling, ensuring accurate and timely appointments, and maintaining up-to-date clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with radiologists and technologists to address scheduling issues and changes.
- Manage and prioritize tasks assigned by supervisors, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
- Handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Organize and maintain the Onco inbox for assigned modalities, addressing email inquiries and ensuring prompt responses.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in radiology scheduling and medical records management.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
