About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior E-Discovery Data Analyst Lead to provide electronic discovery technical support and assist with strategic and legal aspects for all assigned projects and matters with a strong focus on Relativity.

Job Description:

  • Perform analysis, development, and implementation of processing approaches for electronic files and related services pursuant to applicable Electronically Stored Information (ESI) specifications and best practices.
  • Consult with attorneys and support staff for conforming to ESI specifications and participate in teleconferences with co-counsel, client agencies, and opposing counsel upon attorney request.
  • Ensure that incoming and outgoing productions are made pursuant to the applicable ESI specifications and provide detailed notice of deficiencies when found.
  • Perform advanced analytics in Relativity.
  • Create, troubleshoot, and repair Active Learning Projects in Relativity.
  • Generate custom PowerShell scripts and automated system management.
  • Create and support Case Map / Text Map databases.
  • Participate in legal proceedings, such as 26(f) conferences, and meet with the Contracting Officer Representative and senior trial attorneys on approaches to EDRM and advanced technical implementations.
  • Provide input on technology options to respond to specific discovery needs and ensure standard procedures for electronic discovery and litigation support projects are consistently applied across the life of the case.
  • Generate statistical reports providing information on collection, filtering, processing review, and productions.
  • Maintain current knowledge of available software applications and emerging electronic discovery litigation support technology and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree required and five-plus years of prior relevant experience.
  • Minimum five years of experience providing e-discovery services and litigation support on complex and large cases involving complex e-discovery challenges.
  • Thorough knowledge of the litigation discovery process and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) workflow.
  • Advanced knowledge of Relativity (front end and back end).
  • Demonstrated ability to generate complex MS PowerShell scripts.
  • Advanced hands-on experience with Active Learning.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detailed planning and organizational skills and thorough understanding of processes at each stage of the e-discovery lifecycle.
  • Solid, broad knowledge of Information Technology infrastructures including networks and other sources of data.
  • Prior knowledge and experience managing e-discovery projects and related technologies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining proper priorities and scheduling on extremely tight deadlines.
  • Strong team player with complex relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Well organized, strong communicator, detail-oriented, good judgment, and confident working independently.
