Job Summary

As a Director of Wellness, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care and services in our assisted living facilities. You will work closely with our leadership team to implement clinical objectives and improve resident outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts.
  • Contribute to performance evaluations of staff and serve as a resource to the team.
  • Manage resident flow within assigned areas and provide support and coordination for resident emergencies.
  • Open and lead incident command for internal or external disasters until relieved by an administrative representative.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of resident care and identify any issues that affect desired resident outcomes.
  • Respond to complaints about resident care and manage through established channels.
  • May provide input for hiring, training, directing, developing, and evaluating staff.
  • Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
  • Two years' registered nurse experience with demonstrated progressive leadership responsibility.
Professional Licenses and Certifications
  • Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) or Registered Nurse (RN) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration, or Registered Nurse (RN) Issued by Compact State, or Registered Nurse (RN) - Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN), or Registered Nurse (RN) - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services.
Work Environment

This role is a Day Shift position with a scheduled weekly hours of 40.
