Job Description

As an Aerospace Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for the health and effectiveness of aircrew members and those who directly support flight operations and their families. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement programs that promote the physical and mental well-being of our personnel.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in aerospace medicine, with experience working with pilots and other aircrew members. You must also be physically fit and able to meet specific qualifications unique to the career field.

Becoming a Flight Surgeon

If you are selected as a candidate, you will attend the eight-week Aerospace Medicine Primary Course at the U.S. Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM). This comprehensive program will equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in this challenging and rewarding role.
