Intensive Care Unit Nurse

Overview:
NavitsPartners is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse for a Critical Care position in our CVICU setting. As part of our interdisciplinary team, you will deliver individualized, high-quality patient care that meets population-specific needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care Delivery:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and evaluations to provide evidence-based care.
- Maintain effective communication with patients and their families during care delivery.
- Work collaboratively across interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe and efficient patient care.
- Foster a respectful and inclusive environment and contribute to team performance improvement initiatives.
- Complete required ongoing education and competency assessments.
- Act as a preceptor/mentor to peers and students, promoting a positive professional culture.
- Incorporate evidence-based practice and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, regulatory standards, and patient safety goals.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Licenses and Certifications:
- Active RN license (Single-State or Multi-State Compact).
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS).
- Experience:
- Preferred: Direct patient care experience in a critical care setting.
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to respond decisively in emergencies and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency with clinical technology and basic computer skills.
