Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Drafter to join our in-house team at GPAC, a leading search firm specializing in placing quality professionals within multiple industries across the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing panel requirements and panel plans for a variety of building types.
Key Responsibilities
- Draw detailed construction documents using AutoCAD and other construction software
- Verify client designs meet performance requirements and review CAD models and drawings for completeness and accuracy
- Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and engineers on building and panel technical considerations
- Analyze information to determine and plan the best panel layout for each project
Requirements
A degree and/or experience in construction/building science, engineering, architecture, or a related field is preferred. Strong attention to detail, organization skills, math aptitude, and understanding of structural engineering are essential. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other construction software is also required.
