Physics Instructor

We are seeking a qualified Physics Teacher to join our faculty at Williston Northampton School, an independent co-educational boarding and day school in Easthampton, Massachusetts. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching physics, including advanced placement, and creating engaging lesson plans to promote student learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach physics to students in grades 7-12, including advanced placement courses
• Develop and implement curriculum to ensure continuity and quality of instruction
• Participate in extracurricular activities, such as athletics and student advising
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate educational technologies into the teaching environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a master's degree preferred
• Experience teaching middle or high school physics, preferably in an independent boarding school environment
• Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to work with a range of learning abilities
• Flexibility, energy, and a commitment to teamwork
