Key Responsibilities:

As an MRI Technologist at RAYUS Radiology, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes. This role requires a patient-centered approach, providing excellent customer service and adhering to professional standards.

Essential Duties:

Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications

Explain and prepare patients for MRI procedures, ensuring they understand the process and positioning

Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated body parts, providing patient support throughout the process

Adjust MRI scan parameters correctly and as needed

Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, referring customers, and other associates

Follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to safety regulations

Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS)

Maintain an orderly and clean work area, promoting good safety habits for patients and coworkers

Ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines

Additional Responsibilities:

Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades

Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as necessary

Assist with training new associates, providing resource and technical expertise as applicable
