Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead our national general contractor team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily field operations to ensure proper site safety, construction, progress, quality control, and a clean site
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of project strategy and commitments, including financial goals, scheduling, logistics, phasing, milestones, and inspections
  • Work in partnership with the Project Manager to maintain an updated and accurate project schedule that reflects changes in project status and meets cost and time requirements
  • Demonstrate and maintain effective and open dialogue with the project team regarding changes in work, job conditions, subcontractor relations, and any deviation in the project direction
  • Promote positive relationships by dealing expertly and fairly with all subcontractors and vendors, while instilling this philosophy in the project team
Requirements
  • 10+ years of construction experience
  • Lead superintendent experience required
  • Ground-up grocery store and refrigeration experience required
  • Experience in managing, training, and developing people
  • Project experience should include out-of-the-ground, renovation work in occupied and unoccupied environments, urban and suburban work locations, and a complete understanding of high-level finishes
  • Ability to run a 5-week look-ahead schedule
  • Experience with complex, fast-paced, and high-visibility projects
  • National travel required for this position
