We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Project Manager at North Branch Construction, one of the largest commercial and residential contractors in New Hampshire.

About the Role:

  • As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, direction, coordination, and maintenance of budgets and schedules for our commercial construction projects.
  • You will work closely with our Project Superintendents to successfully execute projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Attend design meetings and continuously evaluate materials and products proposed for constructability during the pre-construction phase.
  2. Oversee estimate preparation for conceptual, schematic, and design development stages.
  3. Plan, organize, and direct activities related to construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.
  4. Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within corporate policy boundaries.
  5. Schedule projects in logical steps and budget time to meet deadlines.
  6. Determine labor requirements and prepare contracts.
  7. Negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  8. Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress, and cost tracking.
  9. Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction means and methods.
  10. Confer with Project Superintendent, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
  11. Assist the Business Development team by following up on leads and developing new business contacts.

Requirements:

  • A working knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • A working knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in commercial construction.
  • The ability to apply innovative management techniques to maximize employee performance.
  • A thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc., and their impact on project activities vital.
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
  • Possess solid data-entry, organization, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including email, Internet, Microsoft Suite, ERP Systems, AIA Documentation.

Education:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience/knowledge in construction, design, finance, and management required. Construction management or engineering degree preferred.

Salary and Benefits:

Estimated Salary Range:$120,000 - $180,000 per year
