Maternal Health Specialist

As a skilled Maternal Health Specialist with UnitedHealth Group, you will play a vital role in providing support and addressing barriers to care and social determinants of health (SDOH) for high-risk pregnancies and NICU babies. This position requires travel within the assigned region, as well as the ability to work from a designated quiet workspace in your home.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide evidence-based education to promote healthy pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum outcomes
Create a positive experience and relationship with members
Help members set goals and develop care plans
Proactively engage members to manage their own health
Perform outreach to providers, hospitals, members, and clinics
Attend community events
Travel within the assigned region as needed
Requirements:
Current, unrestricted independent licensure as a Registered Nurse in Kansas
2+ years of maternal and child health experience
1+ years of experience with MS Office
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
Access to a designated quiet workspace in your home
Live in a location with high-speed internet
Preferred Qualifications:
Case Management experience
Background in Managed Care
Located in the state of Kansas
