Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this position is $20 per hour, with an additional $2.00/hour differential for high-intensity programs. Our comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off, health and dental insurance, life insurance, 403(b) retirement plan, and more.
Responsibilities- Provide direct care to individuals living in a residential setting, focusing on daily living skills, transportation, skill-building, money management, and medication administration.
- Help individuals identify personal priorities, preferences, strengths, and interests to establish goals that support a life in recovery.
- Arrange and transport residents to appointments or daily outings, ensuring their needs are met.
- Complete administrative tasks, such as answering phones and filling out paperwork, while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with household tasks like cooking and cleaning, promoting independence and self-care among residents.
- Provide side-by-side support and coaching to help individuals socialize and become more involved in their community.
- A High School Diploma/GED equivalent is required; a Bachelor's Degree is highly preferred.
- Experience working with individuals who have severe and persistent mental illness and/or substance use disorder is essential.
- Valid driver's license, MAP certification within five months of hire, and completion of CPR/First Aid training are mandatory.
- ASL fluency is a plus.
