Environmental Education Specialist

As an Environmental Education Specialist with the University of Florida's 4-H Camp Cloverleaf AmeriCorps program, you will play a vital role in educating students about the importance of environmental conservation. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and deliver educational programs for students in grades K-12, focusing on Florida's land, air, soil, and water using the Florida 4-H Environmental Education curriculum. You will also be responsible for outreach visits to schools, organizations, and agencies to teach environmental education curriculum. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the future of Florida's environment by educating its youth.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and deliver educational programs for students in grades K-12, focusing on Florida's land, air, soil, and water using the Florida 4-H Environmental Education curriculum.
• Conduct outreach visits to schools, organizations, and agencies to teach environmental education curriculum.
• Collaborate with the 4-H Camp Cloverleaf team to ensure the success of the program.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience working with youth and teaching environmental education curriculum preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
