At HBK CPAs & Consultants, we are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for providing innovative and proactive individual and business tax planning, consulting, and compliance services to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Interact closely with clients and firm team members to provide timely and effective tax planning and consulting services.
  • Specialize in individual and business tax returns, with a focus on flow-through entities.
  • Ensure client and team satisfaction through open communication and proactive sharing of tax savings strategies.
  • Work closely with Partners, Directors, and staff on client management, professional development, and business development activities.
  • Supervise and lead associate and senior associate team members to manage client engagements.
  • Develop skills to attract new clients and market the company's services and products.
  • Stay up-to-date on legislative and professional changes and consult with clients on potential implications.
  • Participate in client development through networking events and represent the firm in the business community.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of public accounting experience with a strong concentration in tax.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of various accounting software.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work effectively with the internal team and clients.
  • CPA or law degree required.
