Job Title: Resident Instructor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Resident Instructor to join our team at Community Residences. As a Resident Instructor, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and supportive environment for our clients, helping them to develop the skills and confidence they need to live independently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement individualized plans of care to meet the unique needs of each client.
2. Provide direct care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, medication administration, and transportation.
3. Monitor and report any changes in client behavior or medical status to the Program Manager and/or Program Coordinator.
4. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
5. Contribute to a positive and respectful team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and compassion.

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of experience in the field of human services.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid CT driver's license and reliable transportation.
