Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at the Navajo Tribal Utility Authority. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing water and wastewater systems engineering assessments, analyses, plans, and design activities.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and a Professional Engineering License. A minimum of 3 years' experience in utility gas, water, and wastewater construction is also required.

The selected candidate will assist in the planning and budgeting of capital projects, operations, and maintenance activities. They will also provide technical assistance to outages, analyze and provide recommendations for work problems, and prepare special reports in response to internal and external requests.

The successful candidate will work closely with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and will be responsible for reviewing construction or schematic design plans and materials submittals for new water and wastewater services.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Navajo Preference and Veteran Preference will be given to qualified candidates.
