We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team at AKF Group LLC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of projects, from preparation of deliverables to design and development of building electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement project plans, including setting deadlines and assigning responsibilities.
- Collaborate with architects, owners, and building managers to discuss project goals and objectives.
- Design and develop building electrical systems, including power, lighting, communication, security systems, and fire alarm systems.
- Prepare and review project specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and firm QA/QC processes.
- Attend meetings and site visits to ensure project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and other stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, participating in educational opportunities and technical organizations.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a consulting engineering firm.
- Comprehensive knowledge of code compliance requirements and industry standards.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, decision-making, and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD/Revit software.
- Experience with Deltek or Project Resource Management software is preferred.
