Job Summary:

The Department of State Hospitals - Napa Registry Department is currently accepting applications for a Permanent Intermittent Licensed Vocational Nurse position.

This role requires working a minimum of 12 hours per calendar month, with at least 6 of those hours being weekend shifts. Additionally, employees are required to work 3 major holidays and 3 high-need days per calendar year.

Applicants must complete the STD. 678 Employment Application in its entirety and include "Licensed Vocational Nurse (Safety) - JC" in the "Job Title(s)" section. Resumes will not be accepted in lieu of information provided on the STD. 678.

Possession of a valid, active license from the State of California to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work a minimum of 12 hours per calendar month, with at least 6 of those hours being weekend shifts.
  • Work 3 major holidays and 3 high-need days per calendar year.
  • Complete the STD. 678 Employment Application in its entirety.
  • Include "Licensed Vocational Nurse (Safety) - JC" in the "Job Title(s)" section of the application.
