Job Overview

Entegee is seeking a highly skilled Automation Controls Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our automation team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom automation solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program and troubleshoot PLC systems using Rockwell/AB standards
  • Integrate vision systems and automate processes using Fanuc robots
  • Develop machine control HMI's and user interfaces
  • Implement industrial networking solutions

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in controls supporting manufacturing operations
  • Understanding of manufacturing and tooling processes
  • Proficiency in programming & troubleshooting Rockwell/AB, Devicenet, Ethernet
  • Experience with robot automation (Fanuc) RoboGuide and IRVision is a plus
  • Knowledge of Vision Systems (Cognex and Matrox) and Variable Frequency Drives (PowerFlex)
  • Experience with machine control HMI's/user interface
  • Familiarity with conveyance technologies
  • Expertise in industrial networking
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Experience with Siemens HMI's (S7)

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of wireless applications (RF Tags, EPS) UD & C /MASS
  • Familiarity with PFS Applications such as Cimplicity, PM & C, PR & T
  • Experience with AB Armor Start
