We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital. As a key member of our surgical support staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our surgical procedures.

Job Description

The Senior Surgical Technologist position is responsible for providing advanced support to our surgical team, including preparing patients and operating rooms, assisting surgeons during procedures, and maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients and operating rooms for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Assist surgeons during procedures, providing essential support and maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, medical history, and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Two years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
  • Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), CST (Certified Surgical Technologist), TS-C (Technologist in Surgery-Certified).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
