Material Handler

Job Summary:

Wilsonart is seeking a reliable and skilled Material Handler to join our team in Temple, TX. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and packaging materials for assigned departments, as well as driving a truck for the assigned department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loads and unloads trucks, etc.
• Moves material within a storage facility to and from the loading area using a forklift truck, hoist, motorized conveyor or other material-handling equipment.
• Sorts and distributes material to various areas following work order instructions.
• Counts, weighs and records number of units of materials moved or handled.
• Attaches identifying tag or labels to materials or marks information on cases, containers, etc.
• Ships outgoing package and complete all corresponding paperwork.
• Refuels vehicle and conducts safety inspections.
• Drives a truck for the assigned department to move material.

Requirements:

• High School Graduate or GED.
• 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Local experience.
• No chargeable accidents in three years.
• Must have a valid Commercial Driver's License with a class "A" rating to include HazMat and Tanker endorsement.

Working Conditions:

Located in an environment with regular exposure to fumes or odors, temperature extremes, or loud noises which cause noticeable discomfort or moderate risk of accident or illness.
