The Opportunity

The Global Operations team at Flexport is responsible for successfully managing our customers' supply chains end-to-end. To achieve this, we work closely with our technology partners to drive innovation through process automation and develop a global network strategically located across the world.

This role focuses on driving a first-class customer experience by obsessing over quality and on-time performance. You will execute the end-to-end movement of global shipments within a regional network, including Ocean less than and full container load (LCL and FCL), Ocean imports and Air imports and exports.

Main Responsibilities
  • You will ensure the highest standard of Flexport quality by ensuring shipments move on-time and exceptions are handled appropriately.
  • You will be responsible for meeting internal KPIs and SLAs that demonstrate quality delivery.
  • You will follow standard operating procedures (SOP) to deliver exceptional results.
  • You will solve client issues quickly and ensure smooth operations at origin and destination, escalating issues as needed.
Requirements
  • You will have 2+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, ocean carrier operations, or consulting, with ocean freight knowledge being a plus.
  • You will be able to adapt to new technology and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • You will possess effective time management skills, prioritizing and managing a large volume of tasks efficiently.
  • You will have attention to detail and ability to effectively seek and receive feedback.
  • You will be fluent in English and have a 'compliance-first' attitude to keep regulators happy.
