At Ascension Health, we're committed to delivering exceptional care to our patients. As a CMA Certified Medication Aide, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our residents. With your expertise, you'll administer prescribed medications under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN)/(LVN), maintaining accurate medical records along the way.

Your responsibilities will include presenting medication to patients, observing ingestion or administering medication using specified procedures, taking vital signs, and reporting reactions. You may also provide direct patient care, restock medication inventories, and identify safety hazards and emergency situations to initiate corrective action as needed.

To be successful in this role, you'll need a Medication Aide certification obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required.
