Industrial Sprinkler System Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Sprinkler System Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing sprinkler systems across commercial, industrial, and residential applications.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of troubleshooting procedures, technical manuals, and safety protocols to ensure efficient service delivery. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing and repairing sprinkler systems across commercial, industrial, and residential applications
- Performing service calls from the Service Resource Center, including a brief description of equipment/system malfunctions
- Contacting customer representatives and ascertaining equipment/systems problems
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of fire protection systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps. You must also be able to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications software/systems, programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.
A minimum of 7-10 years of documented experience in the Fire Sprinkler industry performing service and repair to Sprinkler and Suppression systems is required. Additionally, you must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer requirements.
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as comprehensive benefits, including medical/dental/vision insurance, health savings account (HSA), life insurance, 401(k) savings plan with company match, short-term and long-term disability, employee assistance program, and wellness program.
